Coordinate Entry Issues
Thank you for this great app. I work with Texas Task Force 1 as a helicopter rescue swimmer, and we are always needing to convert various formats to MGRS for search and rescue operations. The sharing feature is amazing.
Besides the map view (which has already been submitted (https://mygpsconverter.com/features/post.php?id=18), the way coordinates are entered continues to be our greatest barrier. A few requests:
- Allow pasting the entire coordinate string into one box. Most of the time coordinates are copied from a map or message as one string. Breaking it up in to Lat/Long boxes (or 5 boxes for MGRS?!) is a pain.
- It would be sweet if it could automatically recognize the pasted format.
- Allowing - or N/W on the Lat Long and interpreting appropriately would be swell.
- Currently MGRS coordinate entry requires 5 digits in each of the Easting / Northing boxes. Allow conversion with 4 digit entry.
